Aussie Drifterz

Aussie Drifterz offer tubing on the Behana Creek. If your staying in Mission Beach then its about a 2 hour drive to Cairns where you can meet up with Peter for a great afternoon drifting along in your arm chair or donut tube. The overhead canopy is just gorgeous. Half way down the creek you stop for afternoon tea and a swim in the deeper water, before getting back in your tube for the remainder of the trip. Lots of fun and ideal for the whole family!

It's stinger season in Mission Beach, so remember if you want to swim then be safe. There are two stinger enclosures set up, one in South Mission Beach near Beachcomber Coconut Village and one in Mission Beach near Castaways Resort & Spa. If your swimming outside the enclosures then please make sure your wearing a stinger suit...........and have fun!

Dunk Jet Sports offer an hour & half guided jetski tour around Dunk Island. Catch the Dunk Island Express Water Taxi or the Quick Cat Ferry from Mission Beach to enjoy this tour. Innot Hot Springs

On Tuesday we enjoyed a leisurely drive from Mission Beach to Innot Hot Springs, with a stop at the The Falls Teahouse in Milla Milla for a lovely lunch. We spent lots of time in the thermal pools at the Innot Hot Springs Holiday Village, although we didn't venture out to dig our own hole in the sand to enjoy the springs out in the creek. Save that for next time! I can recommend this as a great mini break, there are motel and 1 bedroom units, powered and unpowered camping available as well as Day Guest entry to the pools.

Mission Reef Resort

Mission Reef Resort is an elegant and luxurious resort-style accommodation, that is less than 100 metres from the beach. Features include inground pool, BBQ area, tropical landscaped gardens and undercover parking. Close to restaurants and beach. Jetty's Restaurant & Wine Bar

Mission Beach is lucky enough to have many wonderful restaurants and cafes. Last night I went to Jetty's Restaurant & Wine Bar to celebrate a friends birthday. We had such a lovely night, the food was delicious, the service excellent and of course the company was great. If your a local or a visitor to Mission Beach make sure you get out and enjoy the great food on offer!
