Its Mothers Day on Sunday and its usually around this time of year that the stinger season ends. We do need to wait for the official word though before we venture back into the water without stinger suits or stinger nets. I can't wait. Its the best part about living in Mission Beach. The beautiful winter weather and the warm tropical waters. Where else would you want to be other than magical Mission Beach this winter??

How big is Australia?

One thing I have noticed with our overseas visitors to Mission Beach is that they are not really aware of how big Australia is. This means when they are planning their holiday they sometimes get caught out by the distance they need to travel from one place to the other, and end up missing out. Visit the Mission Beach Information Station and we will help you schedule your stops and tours so you don't miss out on anything!
