Dunk Island Sportsfishing

My Uncle went out fishing with Alistair from Dunk Island Sportsfishing yesterday and had a fabulous day. They went out to the Reef and caught many different types of fish, including the yummy nannygai that we had for dinner last night! I wonder what he will catch today????? Had a delicious lunch at "Off the Rails" in South Johnstone this week. I can definitely recommend the Bruschetta with avocado and roasted vegetables! If you live in Mission Beach or are a visitor looking for somewhere to eat then I can recommend a good restaurant. I had a lovely dinner at Jetty's last night. 2 of us ordered off the regular menu and 2 had the 3 courses for $35.00, and we all enjoyed our food selections. I can strongly recommend the Mocha & Hazelnut Mousse!

Echo Creek Rainforest & Cultural Experience

Had a lovely day on the Echo Creek Rainforest & Cultural Experience "Yunba Tour". This is their new tour, its a shorter day for those people who might not have a lot of time to spend in Mission Beach. The guided walk takes you to the Healing Pond where you sit down and weave yourself a bracelet while waiting for the billy to boil, so so relaxing. Thanks to Sonya, Tonia and Caroline!
