MINGALOO! Calypso crew and passengers in Mission Beach have just spotted Mingaloo the famous white Whale. Mingaloo was showing off on her way South today 16Aug10. She passes by Mission Beach every year and its so good to see her again. Have a safe journey Mingaloo!!

Edmund Kennedy Walking Track

My favourite walking track in Mission Beach is the Edmund Kennedy in South Mission Beach.....a walk through the rainforest, along the beach, around the point for a view of the Islands & on to Kennedy Bay. It's a 7km round trip but you can go as far as you like & then turn around. A fantastic option if you want to get out for a bit of exercise or to just enjoy the beautiful place we live in!

Millers Bar & Grill

It seems like a bit of a foodie theme happening with us at the moment.......but I had a fabulous dinner at Millers Bar & Grill on Tuesday night. My steak & roasted vegies was great, I must say if I was a seafood eater then I would have been really impressed with my friends Seafood Platter, it had so many different things on the plate & got a big thumbs up. We are so lucky with our choices here in Mission Beach!
