Summer Storms

We had a really big huge storm in Mission Beach last night. It was a Light Show of extreme power. Amazing stuff. We lay in the warm swimming pool with the cold rain pouring down on our heads. All the while the sky lit up with what seemed like hundreds of flashes per minute. It really is a great time of year to be living in or visiting Mission Beach

Christmas in Mission Beach

I can't believe it is already December and that the lead up to Christmas madness is happening already. There is one thing I'm looking forward to and this is my Mum joining me here in Mission Beach this year, a tropical Christmas for her. I will be thinking of some great things for her to do, perhaps a trip to the Reef, a skydive ( ok probably not likely ), or even white water rafting, who knows but its all on offer here.

A little bit of rain

It is so nice to be in Mission Beach right now, after a couple of really hot days it has started to rain and is cooling us down......yeah! The rain of course is very welcome for our gardens too.
