If you are travelling on a Greyhound bus through Mission Beach and the East Coast of Australia, be sure to label all of your bags ( name, phone number etc.) as it is extremely difficult to track your baggage if lost.

Dolphins!!!

If you have never jet skied off Dunk Island you must go!! Me and my partner hired one of the skis from Dunk Jet Sports and headed out towards Bedarra Island. I am pleased to say that is was me who noticed some fins coming out of the water. Next thing we knew we were surrounded by a pod of dolphins!!! Can you imagine that....we obviously turned off the ski and spent a good ten minutes watching and hearing these beautiful creatures. It is a moment I will never forget for as long as I live. So if you are staying in Mission Beach, get yourself over to Dunk Island, you may get lucky...we did!

Loving winter in Mission Beach

I have just returned from a quick trip down south, I can tell you that it has made me realise just how fabulous it is to be in Mission Beach in winter. I'm sitting here at work looking out the front door at the bright and sunny day, I can't wait to get home, grab my towel and a good book and head down to the beach. Of course I may have to again text my friends down south to remind them that life is good in Mission Beach..........I'm sure they want to know!

It has been so hectic at the Mission Beach Information Station we have hardly had time to blog properly. People are loving the great weather and the many activities to do in Mission Beach. Most popular activities have been skydiving, rafting and trips to the great barrier reef.
